MINERAL PROIECT INVEST S.A. (MPI) is a Romanian owned company set up in 2012, which aims to capitalize on deposits of mineral resources considered critical/strategic (magnesium, nickel) in the European Union and the United States of America.
MPI’s project is the most advanced project of its kind currently in Europe with the exploration phase fully completed.
MPI is in the unique position to support the new EU directives to reduce the dependance from China as per Critical Raw Material Act issued in 2023 in Brussels, with regards to strategic raw materials in the afore mentioned directive.
MPI’s magnesium project (magnesian rocks – serpentine ore) is a green world class project that began exploration works in 2020, expected mining operating permit in 2025 in a modern open pit design, with a measured reserve of over 35 mil tons and a mining lifespan of more than 50 years in a fully integrated operation with outstanding economics.
